A kiss is just a kiss

A kiss is just a kiss

I know you love your car

but I must remind you

that it doesn't love you

Its the people who designed it

and those who made its parts

and those who assembled them

who do

the people who brought it

to the dealership

the people who sold it to you

the bank which employed the people

who provided the loan

the insurance company

employing people

to replace your beloved vehicle

if you have the misfortune

of being involved in an accident

and the hospital

which employs people

to help you

if you are injured

not to mention the people

who make the tires

who maintain the roads

who work at the gas stations

and at the rest stops

along the highways

This is how we love each other

how we stay connected

how we all get along

This love is obscure

its quite concealed

but you can

almost always

count on it

It is almost always there

as time goes by
